Today we celebrate the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time. In John’s Gospel today, He recognizes Jesus as the “Lamb of God Who Takes Away the Sin of the World.” He indicates that Jesus is the Messiah and the “God’s Chosen One.”
How do we recognize Jesus in our lives? Is He the one we visit for an hour on the weekend or is He welcomed into our lives each and every day?
There is a saying “actions speak louder than words.” Prayer is an important ingredient in the growth of our Faith but so are our actions. Do we share our Time, Talent and Treasure or keep these gifts from God for our own use and satisfaction?
Our individual actions may not change the world but perhaps it can make a difference in the life of one person. Sharing our Blessings with others is a wonderful way to start the Year 2017 and invite Jesus into our lives every day.
May you have a Blessed New Year!
