In today’s Gospel the Pharisees are again testing Jesus. So many times, during his public life, Jesus was tested and challenged. He was denied three times by his beloved Apostle, Peter and betrayed by one of his other twelve apostles, Judas. Yet, as he died nailed to a cross, He asked the Father for forgiveness for those who harmed Him. What greater Love can there ever be?
Parishioner Remarks:
Next weekend Fr. Michael and our parish family will celebrate his 40th Anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood. This is truly a blessing for Fr. Michael and our parish. He has touched many lives as a Pastor, Educator and Hospital Chaplin. He has been with us during the great times on our lives and the times that challenged us the most.
Dear Fr. Michael,
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand all the days of your life.
Sincerely,
Your Parish Family
