Dear Parishioners,
Easter is the most important feast on the church calendar. The death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, is the central act of salvation history as unveiled by God for all time. It is almost inconceivable for us to wrap our limited understanding around this singular saving event, but God does not need us to completely understand His gift. He asks us to accept it and live it each and every day.
This is what makes Easter such a joyous feast—it raises us up in holiness and love. It assures us of God’s unconditional and eternal love for us. I pray that this love will extend from our table of Eucharist in the midst of our parish community to your table of family celebration on Easter Sunday afternoon.
On behalf of our entire staff…may Easter grant you and your family the peace and serenity of our Lord as well as an abundance of His love and grace.
May the Lord bless you and yours as you gather in celebration of God’s gift of the resurrected Christ…
In Christ,
