Today we celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent, known as Gaudete Sunday.
 
The candle lit on this day is the Shepherd’s Candle. It reminds us that God sent the angels to proclaim the birth of Jesus to the shepherds.
 
As the Christmas Season approaches, may we find Christ’s peace within us and share our gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure with our family and others.
 
May the Love of Jesus be real in our lives this Christmas and throughout the coming year.
