WHO IS A STEWARD?

 

A Steward is one who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them with love to others and returns them with increase to God.

Jesus invites us to “take up our cross daily.” Some days we are called to take up someone else’s cross so they can catch a breath, have a short rest or simply have faith in the goodness of humanity.

May we take this time of Stewardship Renewal to acknowledge our blessings and share them with others. It is time that “mustard seed” within all of us to burst out in all its love and beauty.

Remember, we are the hands and feet of a loving God!
