Dear Parishioner,
 
The Third Sunday of Advent is called Gaudete Sunday.  The third candle is lit on this day along with the first two.  The third candle is the Shepherd’s Candle reminding us that God sent the angels to proclaim the birth of Jesus to the shepherds.
 
As the Christmas season approaches, may we find Christ’s peace within us and share our gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure with our family and friends.
